I earned my BA in English from Roosevelt University in Chicago and started my
writing career as a technical writer for Motorola. I’ve also freelanced for
corporations, writing and editing newsletters, package copy, training manuals,
proposals, advertorials, brochures, speeches and press releases.
I was a staff writer for Illinois Magazine for three years where I also wrote a
monthly humor column. My travel, food, health, and garden pieces have appeared
in international, national, and regional magazines both online and in print.

I am also the owner and operator of a bed and breakfast in Galena, Illinois where I
taught a class on herbal cooking and crafting. Currently, I’m working on my second
novel.
